Crafty Monkeys Challenge

Here's my daughter Isabelle's submission to this week's challenge over at Crafty Monkeys. This week the challenge is to create a card or paper project with a Halloween theme. Bella loves Halloween so she had lots of fun making this card with the Cuttlebug's Haunted House embossing folder, Halloween embellishments including brad, rub-ons and stickers. She decided to decorate the inside of the card as well with stickers and a sentiment.
I asked her if she was going to give it to Grandma or her teacher and she emphatically responded by saying, "I'm not giving this one away mommy, I'm keeping it! But I can make another one for Grandma." Oh well, can't fault her logic as I usually feel the same way about my creations - LOL.

Have a great Sunday,
Maria

Tilda & Friends ATC + Storage

Edited to add: Posting date listed as Tuesday, October 14th when in fact I posted on Wednesday, October 15th. There must be a problem with the Blogger site. Not sure how to change the date and time settings but if anyone else knows, please let me know.

Here's my submission to this week's Tilda & Friends ATC Challenge to make a tag. I have used a Tilda my older daughter picked out for herself. Stylish Tilda from Magnolia's 2008 Autumn Collection is such a funky fashionable girl just like my Bella. I did something different and used rub-ons for the background instead of DP. The picture doesn't show it but I made the ATC like a card so that I can write on the inside of it - very much like Leann's Tag for the DT.

I have found these amazing clear protective sheets to store and protect my ATCs. Each sheet has 9 individual pockets sized 3.5" x 2.75" each which are just perfect. A package contains 10 sheets so you could store up to 90 ATCs in a 3-ring binder with one package. The bestest part is that it cost me a whole $1 - can you believe it - how great is that?! Sorry pics are not great as I'm in a rush to get my daughter to music class this morning.

Thanks for visiting and have a great day,
Maria

Happy Thanksgiving

Hope you've had a great day enjoying time with family, great food and this wonderful weather.

Took me a few days to put this simple card together as ME time is in short supply these days. Any down time there is is not my own so I have to sneak away - really LOL. Oh well, such is life with little ones, working and a million things to get done.

This is my favourite Whiff of Joy stamp - Melinda Blowing Kisses - and I'm embarassed to say that I've had it for a while but have inked it up for the first time for this special card. Purchased these great Memory Keeper papers, brads, Imagnisce flowers and Imaginisce floral stamp for the inside of the card from Phebe at the Town Scrapper. Phebe has her own blog now so stop by here to say hi.

That's all for today. Thanks for stopping by.

Hugs,
Maria
