Kick Up Your Heels with A Spoon Full of Sugar

Its Happy Tuesday and time for another calorie-free fun edition of A Spoon Full of Sugar.  Our fun 3D challenge this week is sponsored by Bunny-Zoe Crafts.  So be sure to take a peek at the DT's wonderful creations for some inspiration, kick you your heels and join in the fun by getting crafty.

My creation is a Purse Gift Bag featuring Magnolia's Charleston Tilda.  I love this Tilda and couldn't wait to get my hands on this stamp.  I won this from the wonderful Jodi along with the rest of the Kit and I'm still dancing with happiness over my luck.

This bag is for my mom's birthday and I had a great time making it for her.

Image was stamped on Neenah Super Smooth cs with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.  This is the first time I've used the Super Smooth and I definitely prefer it over the Neenah Smooth cs for blending with Copics.  My absolute favourite cs for Copic blending is still Beckett Expressions but I've run out ~ gasp ~ and this Super Smooth Neenah is a pretty good second choice.

Here's a close side view look at the bag.  Gift Bag Tutorial found here.

I've used MME ~ Abbey Road "Lucky Me" Open Toed Paper ~, SU ribbon, Prima Pearls, flowers from stash, pearl brads from The Hobby House, Stickles for Tilda's wings and pop up dots.  Copic used: E000, E01, E11, E25, E35, E50, E57, B02, BG000, BG01, BG05, BG45, G14, YR04 & YR09.

Have a great crafting day.

Hugs,
Maria

This is so cute and clever - must remember this idea when I need to give away something that would fit into this cute little bag. And the whole heal-theme is perfect. I get so confused with all the special cardstock you all talk about over there - if only I could get find somewhere to buy it and have it send overseas - as we have cardstock and not so good cardstock to choose from overhere. Nothing especially perfect for Copics at all. Any tips - please let me know - I am all ears. =0)
