Cute and Girly at A Spoon Full of Sugar

Edited to add a link to the talented Papercrafts by Rach Tutorial on the

Happy Tuesday!  This week's challenge over at A Spoon Full of Sugar is Cute and Girly and our sponsor this week is DRS Designs.

My stamps from DRS didn't arrive in time for me to play with for this challenge - boohoo.  So here's a sneak peek at the newly released Made with Love Lola image, an exclusive Victoria Case Design for The Townscrapper.

Yummy papers are from the Fly a Kite Collection by October Afternoon ~ Strawberry Jam and Front Porch series, which I bought from Phebe at The Townscrapper.  I purchased the red heart pin from Nikki at Bunny-Zoe's Crafts but I altered it a bit by adding a few beads from my stash ~ I'm hoping to make a few more pins of my own to add to my projects.  I can't remember where I bought the second pearl blingy pin as its been in my stash for a while.  Flowers are from the Dollar Store and rub-on sentiment from my stash.  I was inspired by this week's post on Copic Creations and tried colouring in monochrome tones for the first time.  But I did cheat just a teeny bit by using E000 for blending on the face, arms and legs.  Copic colours used:   E000, R20, R30, R32, R35, R37 & R39 plus BlenderKatie Cotton has a wonderful video tutorial on monochrome colouring.

Here's a close-up of Made with Love Lola.  I'm entering this card into the following challenges:
Checkout the rest of the ASFOS team's gorgeous creations for some inspiration.  We're looking forward to your wonderful submissions this week at A Spoon Full of Sugar.

Hugs,
Maria

    Hi Mel,

Thanks for your sweet comment. I can't remember where I got the pearl blingy pin as its been in my stash for a while. But I purchased the red heart pin from Bunny Zoe's Crafts. I altered the pin though by adding the beads and spacers from my stash. Thanks for the question. I've updated my post to include the info as well.

    Hugs, Maria

    Maria,
Love your card. I noticed that you cut and embossed with a spellbinders, but how did you get it to cut with our cutting part of your image?
