Layers at Sundays with Crissy

Please note I will be on holidays from May 24 to June 13 but will have pre-scheduled posts until my return.  I will visit your blogs when I'm back.

It's Sunday and time for another fun challenge over at Sundays with Crissy.   This week's challenge is LAYERS.  For those of you new to SWC, it's a bi-weekly challenge blog so you will have 2 weeks to work on your projects - woohoo lots of time to participate.  The DT will feature the uber talented Crissy Armstrong's digital images from Squigglefly, Whimsy and Wags 'n Whiskers.  You can use whatever images you'd like on your projects but if you use Crissy's digital images, you might be the lucky random winner of a great prize once a month.

I used the digital image Bubble Fun, which can be purchased from Wags 'n Whiskers.  My super fabulous crafty friend Zoe helped me flip the kitty in the image.  You've gotta love digis for their versatility.  Image was printed on Beckett Expression paper and coloured with Copics and a sprinkling of Copic Clear Spica pen on the bubbles as well as Crystal Effects.  Copics used: Blender, BG000, BG10, BG11, BG13, BG15, C00, C1, C3, C5, C7, E000, E00, E11, E25, E27, E29, E50, R20, R30, R32, R25 & R37.  Sentiment and butterfly are SU rub-ons.  Pins are from my stash.  Yellow flower plus pearls are from the Dollar Store.  Smaller roses are Primas from Michaels.  The beautiful ribbon is a gift from my super talented friend Bernie.  Layout/sketch was inspired by the super sweet and very talented Tara at Inking on the Edge.

I'm also entering this card into the following challenges:
Pop by Sundays with Crissy to take a peek at the rest of the DT's beautiful creations cause they are truly an inspirational Crew.  We'd love to see your creations so have some fun and get crafty.

Have a wonderful Sunday and Happy Victoria Day to my fellow Canadians celebrating the long weekend and holiday on Monday.

Hugs,
Maria

THis is SUCH a cute and perfect card. Thanks for sharing. Have a nice holiday - but just a friendly word of warning - I use to make sure I have new entries on my blog during a vacation - but I NEVER dare to write if I am away - the internet is not only a source for friendly people like us. I would not write about it. Best wishes Charlie
