Magical Friends at A Spoon Full of Sugar

Today at A Spoon Full of Sugar we are sponsored by Wags 'n Whiskers.  The DT's projects feature stamps from Wags' newest release, Fun in the Sun.  Our challenge today is to use 3 Designer Papers and 3 buttons and we'd love for you to join in and play along with us.  Checkout the DT's fabulous creations here.

My card features the sweet image called Magical Friends and when I saw this image I knew I had to have it as it totally reminds me of the fairy tales my girls so love and that unicorn is just the sweetest ~ unicorns were a fave of mine when I was a little girl too.

Here's a close-up.  I purchased these gorgeous papers, part of the Once Upon a Dream collection by Best Creations Inc ~ Fairy Tales and Rainbow Dots, from Skribbles and Scraps.  The papers even have glitter and bling ~ just perfect for little girls.  Pearls, buttons, floss and Stickles for added bling on the wings and the unicorn's mane are from my stash.  I used Copics to colour the image (Face: E000, E00, E11, E50, E53; Hair: E43, E44, E47, E49, E50, E25 & E27; Shirt & Shoes: RV00, RV02, V05; Overalls: YG03, YG00 & YG0000; Unicorn: V01, V04; Blender)Edited to add:  I used one of my favourite punches to frame the lavender/lilac DP ~ Apron Lace by Fiskars.

With all the bling and sparkle on the card, I'm thinking this will be perfect as a little girl's birthday card so I'm submitting it into the Birthday Somethings Challenge over at Stamp Something and into the Shiny, Sparkly and Special Challenge over at  Papertake Weekly.

Have a great day and thanks for visiting,
Maria

Maria, this is adorable! I used to collect unicorns when I was younger, so I really love this stamp! Gorgeous colouring as always, and I love the punched border peeking out from under the DP (what punch is that??).
