Sending Donkey Smiles & Hugs
A Spoon Full of Sugar and the Just Magnolia DT have teamed up to support our fellow DT member, Michelle Oatman, with a card drive. Michelle had an accident a few weeks ago resulting in the loss of her right eye. She has a long recovery ahead and we want to flood her mailbox with well wishes from around the world. Our card drive will run for 3 weeks and finish on the 27th July at 8pm UK time.
The adorable donkey image on my card was created by Whimsy Stamps' artist Melissa Jenkins in honour of Michelle. Ann Vento, another talented Whimsy Stamps artist, has also provided matching sentiments for this sweet image. The special digital donkey image and matching sentiments are available for free from the Whimsy Stamps store page. A very special thanks also goes out to our wonderful Debbie for all her hard work in organizing this card drive.
Stampavie is also collecting PayPal donations which will be sent directly to Michelle to help “kick” the mountain of medical costs associated with her surgeries and also to help her obtain an artificial eye.
For more details on sending your own well wishes and to view the gorgeous cards prepared by the two design teams, please visit us at A Spoon Full of Sugar.
Hugs,
Maria

This is just beautiful Maria, the colours and flowers are gorgeous,Hugs Debbie x
What an absolutely gorgeous card for such a wonderful cause. I am constantly in awe of this amazing crafty blogging world we are so lucky to be a part of. It is amazing how we all pull together for people we have only met by cyber chance and a love of stamps and all things crafty.
Fingers cross Michelle recovers quickly and her new eye enables her to get back to crafting. I bet despite her loss, she has a massive smile.
Again, gorgeous card Maria!
Hugs
