Animals with A Spoon Full of Sugar

Hi everyone and welcome to a new challenge over at A Spoon Full of Sugar.  I really worked outside my comfort zone with the Animal challenge this week because colouring animals is not my forte at all.  But I had so much fun colouring this ever so cute Karen Doodles' digital image, Rainy Day.  Our generous sponsor this week is Bunny-Zoe's Crafts.

Digi was printed onto Beckett Expression cardstock and coloured with Copics.  Although you can't see it in the photo, I added Crystal Effects to the hat ribbons plus raindrops and puddles.  Papers are from MME's Quite Contrary line and I've been saving them for just the perfect image.  I cased the layout from Michele Boyer here as she always has the fabbiest.  Ribbon and baubles are from my stash and the umbrella charm was purchased at The Townscrapper.  My wonderful friend suggested I draw in a sidewalk to differentiate the sky from the ground and I love this effect.  I was a bit hesitant but nothing 'ventured nothing gained', right ~ thanks Zoe!

Be sure to visit the rest of the DT's wonderful projects for inspiration.  We'd love to see your creations too so we hope you will join in and get crafty.

I'm entering this into the new Fuzzy Wuzzy challenge blog where its a colour combo ~ green, pink, chocolate & Kraft.

Sorry for the short post but today is the girls' first day back to school and its going to be busy morning getting everything and everyone ready.   Have a great day and thank you for visiting.

Hugs,
Maria
