Clean and Simple with Tilda

Hi Everyone and thanks for visiting.  My friend Zoe has challenged me to create a clean and simple card which means no layers of DP ~ eeeek!  So here's my card which I'm also going to enter into the Timbroscrapmania Clean and Simple challenge, Copic Creations' Shading challenge and ABC's Distressing challenge, Stampin' for the Weekend's Shabby/Vintage challenge and Cute Card Thursday's Tweet and/or flutter (butterfly).

.
I've used my new Travelling Tilda Sitting stamp ~ I love this Tilda and her hat ~ and printed the image on Xpress-it Blending Card and coloured with Copics.  I added some grays to my colouring for added shading which I don't usually do too often but I think I will do more from now on as it definitely adds some dimension to the image.  I've been colouring hair the same way for a while now and wanted to try something new.  So I cased Cheryl's card here as I loooove her colouring.  I'm really happy with how it turned out.   I added a Prima swirl for the background and from my stash the butterfly charm, ribbon, mesh and string.  The sentiment and butterfly fluttering around Tilda's hat are retired Stampin' Up rub-ons.  The beautiful black beaded pin is a gift from my friend Zoe.

Copics:
Face:  E000, E00, E01, E11 & R20
Hair: E25, E30, E21, E47 & E55
Dress and Hat: BG0000, B01, BG01, C1, C3, C5, C7, R0000, R000, R81, R83 & R85
Shoes: C1, C3, C5 & C7

Have a great day and hope to see you back tomorrow for my project for Crissy's Crew.

Hugs,
Maria

Hi Maria,
You have done a great job with the challenge.
Your colouring is terrific! That beautiful swirl of pearls plus your ribbon, mesh and butterflies make it a gorgeous card and I don't miss DP at all.

This is wonderful colouring and you're obviously doing better than I with the Express It card - I find that it feathers a lot.
