Hi everyone! Hope you are having a great Sunday. There's an awesome sketch challenge over at Magnolia Down Under and I couldn't resist but to play along with my Tilda. Prepare to oooh and aaah over the DT's fabulous creations. I know I was inspired!
I went vintage with my card and couldn't wait to ink up Tilda with Peony. I pretty much distressed all these pretty K & CO papers and sponged the edges with Tim Holtz Walnut Stain and Worn Lipstick distress inks. I usually tuck away lace or ribbon neatly in behind the DP but decided to leave the edges exposed this time for some extra vintage appeal. I really like the tattered look of the lace. I added pearls, Prima flowers and swirls plus a cute charm and hatpins. The ticket sentiment is from Whimsy which I stamped with Walnut Stain and then sponged with Worn Lipstick. The card is for my mom who deserves a big thanks everyday for all she does.
Oooh and I stamped Tilda on Xpress-it Paper (my new fave) from Zoe at Make-it-Crafty and coloured her with my Copics. I decided to take a liberal interpretation of the sketch and cut Tilda out and popped her up.

Your card is beautiful! Great job of coloring. Growing up our whole east side of the house was lined with peonies. We always had bouquets of them in the house. Love the smell of them! Thanks for the memories!
