All Aboard with Magnolia Down Under

Hi everyone!  It's the weekend and time for another fabulous Magnolia Down Under Challenge.  This week's challenge is all about Travel so I inked up Tilda on the Loose with her flowing windswept hair.  She's stamped with Memento ink on Xpress It Paper and coloured with Copics.  I followerd Norma's wonderful step by step tutorial HERE on how to make this mini round easel card.

Here's a look at the easel card all opened up.  The middle panel is a great place to add a personal note.  For the front of the card, I've added my favourite WOC flowers and placed pearl strands and a hatpin in with the flowers.  Leaves punched with my MS Rose Leaf.  I was so excited when I found this Trip/Fun luggage sticker in my stash as it's perfect for the card.

My apologies for the bad photos.  Its been a long week and I've been battling the stomach flu and these were taken in a rush.  I'm sooooo glad its the weekend so I can get some down time and recoup a bit.

I'm entering the card into the following challenges:
Don't forget to checkout the MDUC blog for a peek at the fabulous DT's creations.

Have a great weekend and see you on Monday when I announce the winner of my blog candy HERE.

Hugs,
Maria

How CLEVER is this - thanks for sharing - and it is so perfect. You had me wondering about where to write the personal note - I thought the suitcase was hiding the message - but NOW I understand it. Hope you're fine - I think of you and smile everytime I use the lovely Copic pens I won on your blog earlier this year. ALl the best. CharlieDK

Maria, this is absolutely gorgeous. Wonderful colour combo you used--so pleasing to the eyes. Your colouring is awesome--love the way you did the black hair. Your card is beautifully put together. Love it. I don't see anything wrong with the pictures.

PS. Bless you for mentioning me. I so love seeing that my tute is being used. Makes it worth while knowing that I didn't waste my time in making it, you know?...LOL.
