Vintage Plus Sketch with Make It Crafty

Hi everyone!  It's the 4th Wednesday of the month so its time for a Fun challenge at Make It Crafty.  We have a sketch for you and we're challenging you to make it vintage.

I've distressed every possible DP edge on my creation and Zoe will have restocks of the distressing tool soon.  I've used only 2 DPs to showcase this exclusive Make It Crafty Open Window digi which I combined with Magnolia's Longing Tilda stamp my friend Nikki sent me.  Isn't Tilda just perfect with this window?  I cut up some extra flowers too and popped them up around Tilda's hand.  Images were printed on Xpress It and coloured with Copics.  DPs and embellies are all from my stash as I'm trying to use up what I have so I can of course make room for more new things.  The flowers were made with my new Magnolia Doohickey Doily Flowers die, available at Magnolia-licious and the swirls were made with a Marianne's Creatables die.

Oooh oooh ooh, have you heard the news?  Make It Crafty has RUBBAH stamps too!  Look at Zoe's first Santa Rubber Stamps just in time for the holidays.  They each come with a sentiment too ANNNNND a 7% off introductory discount this week.  Check it out my crafty friends cause you won't be disappointed.  I can't wait for mine to arrive!

Be sure to checkout the talented DTs creations for inspiration.  We'd love to see your creations so have fun, get inky and submit for us to see.

I'm entering my card into the following challenges:
On a final note, I'm so excited to be going to the Paper Pickle today to take a class with the extraordinaire Linda Heavens who is going to teach how to combine Copics with Prismas.  Woohoo!  Hopefully I'll remember my camera so I can take some pics and share next time.

Thank you so much for visiting and for any comments you might leave.  Have a fabulous day.

Hugs,
Maria

Darling card. Love the tattered look, distressed. I wish I could master this technique as you have, but so far I'm not very successful at it. I'm envious of your talent.

Hiya Maria! LOTS of fun last night! I always enjoy my regulars, but when someone new shows up it seems to just energize me!

Hope to see you again...your magnolias are darling...practice that shading, remember to keep that stump on an angle and ditch those q-tips!

I'm hoping to give some tips and tricks on that background shading on my blog in the next couple weeks so stay tuned. It is THE #1 QUESTION i get asked!
