Snow and/or Snowflakes with A Spoon Full of Sugar

Oh how times flies and so my apologies because my card is late for this week's challenge over at A Spoon Full of Sugar.   Our challenge this week is Snow and/or Snowflakes which is perfect for those already working on holiday cards.

Our fabulous sponsor this week is the marvelous Nikki of Bunny Zoe's Crafts and 1 lucky player will win a £10 Gift Certificate to spend in her store.  Hope you will be able to play along with us this week because we'd love to see your creations.  So hop on over to checkout the DT's fabulous creations for inspiration.

I did something totally different for my creation this week.  Can you guess?  The Magnolia Snowman with Lantern is NOT coloured with Copics ~ shocker, no!  I took a fabulous distress ink class with the talented Angie Hunt this past weekend.  This is one of the images we coloured in class and as you can very well tell, I need LOTS OF PRACTICE.

Papers are Bo Bunny from their Midnight Frost Collection.  Charm and brads are from my stash and the blingy snowflakes were made with Micro Fine Glitter Ritz and Sookwang Paper, all available at Skribbles and Scraps.  Love this new glitter and it has so many possibilities with the Sookwang Paper.

I'm entering this card into the following challenges:

Hugs,
Maria

Using the distressing ink is a bit of nightmare to me since I am not good at it. I always admire others that can handle them and yours sure looks perfect to me Maria. Love the cool DP and the charm is a cute touch on this card :o)
