I'm Back with Sad News
Hello friends and thank you for visiting after my long absence. I took a break to spend time with my father who suddenly became very ill in December. It is with a heavy heart that I share with you he passed away late January after a short but heroic battle with cancer. Here's my fave picture of me and my father taken on my wedding day. His absence has left a huge void and I miss him greatly.
Thank you to so many of you who have dropped me a line and/or sent a card of support and understanding. Your thoughts and prayers have meant so very much to me and my family. I will be slowly coming back to DT commitments and posting projects but you may find I will be a bit quiet for a while in between posts.

Oh Maria, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. My mum battled cancer last year, and it is such a dreadful illness....my heart goes out to you hun. That is a fabulous photo of you and your Dad, you both look so happy.

Oh my Maria! I saw you had taken a break from blogging but didn't know the situation was a sad one. I am so sorry for your loss. I lost my father a few years ago and it was one of the hardest things I had to go through. I will be praying for you and your family. Hugs, Rosie
