Lola Meets A Spoon Full of Sugar

Good day my friends and fellow crafters! Hope you have had a wonderful weekend and for those coming back from Spring Break, I hope you had a great time away.

This is my first DT creation for A Spoon Full of Sugar and this week's challenge calls for a Bookmark. I think I have received my girls' 'stamp of approval' as they are in negotiations as I write this post to determine who is going to get it. Well, I'll be making another not only in an effort to end the now heated discussion going on here - hehehe - but also because it was fun.

You don't want to miss the rest of the DT's wonderful creations so check them out HERE and have some inky fun yourself and join in the challenge.

Lola Purseonality

I have used the 'NEW' Lola image by Victoria Case, exclusively sold at The Townscrapper. Isn't she just the sweetest sassiest girl and she'll be available in rubber in mid-April! I coloured Lola with Copics and paired her up with this gorgeous My Mind's Eye Paper from their Abbey Road Collection ~ Lucky Me "Hello World" Shopping Spree Paper & Lucky Me "How Fortunate" Good Luck Paper ~. You gotta love the names of these papers - just perfect! I found them in a papercrafting store called, Piktails in Orlando, while on holidays in Florida. Yes, I did some shopping but it was only 15 minutes away from where we were staying - woohoo - so I couldn't resist having a quick peek - lol. The rest of the embellies are from my stash and I generated the sentiment on my computer.

I'm submitting this into the following challenges as well:
  1. Simon Says Stamp Challenge Blog - Splash of Green
  2. Little Red Wagon - Copics
  3. Fussy and Fancy Friday Challenge - Green
  4. Just Us Girls - Spring Colour Challenge (green, blue, brown & yellow)
Here's a close-up:

Enjoy your day.

Hugs,
Maria
