Christmas in July

It's Sunday and time for another great challenge over at Sundays with Crissy where we're celebrating 'Christmas in July'Whimsy Stamps is sponsoring us this month with a fabulous prize for one lucky participant.  The DT is also excited to welcome the very talented Michele Spera as our guest designer this month.  Checkout her blog to take a peek at her beautiful creations.

My card features one of uber-talented Crissy Armstrong's beautiful Wags 'n Whiskers digi, 'Zoe and Gemma Snow Fun'.  This is my first attempt at making a shaker card and I'll need to work on the border a bit more for next time.

Christmas in July

I've made a new resolution and am determined to use as much of my crafting supplies already in my stash before I buy any new products.  So the DP is from last year's My Mind's Eye holiday line and the ribbon plus sentiment decal is from my stash.  I used the following Copics:  B60, B95, E000, E00, E11, E25, E30, E31, E33, E50, R20, R22, R24, R27, R29, RV00, R81, R83, R85, W1, W3, W5, W7, W9, YG00, YG03, YG05, YG07 & YG11.  I bought some micro-beads from the Dollar Store and used them for the inside of the shaker and then used the Star Dust Stickles around the outside border.

I'm entering my card into the following challenges:

Hope you get a chance to play along with us and get a head start on your Christmas cards.  You have until Saturday, July 31, to link up your project so be sure to pop on over to Sundays with Crissy to checkout the DTs fabuuuuulous creations for inspiration.  Ooooh and if you're looking for an amazing tutorial on how to colour hair and clothes with Copics, checkout Crissy's latest tutorial .
