This week's challenge is to Tag It ~ use a tag anywhere on your project. This is my first easel card. I've been admiring them for so long but too nervous to try and make one. Now I'm wondering what took me so long b/c It was so easy and loads of fun. I love that you can display the card and fold it back down to be placed in an envelope. I'm definitely going to make more of these and can see it becoming quite addictive ~ hehehe.
Secretive Tilda is so cute and I'm totally addicted to these yummy Annalee Prima Papers. Flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts. Pearls, rhinestones, pins and charm are from my stash. Sentiment is from Motivet and I've had it for quite some time waiting to be inked. Tilda was stamped with Memento ink on Xpress-it ~ colours used: E0000, E00, E01, E11, E21, E25,E27, E30, E31, E35, E47, BG0000, BG000, BG01, BG05, BG07, BG09, R000, R20, R32, R35, R37, R81, R83, G24 & C1.
I had lots of inspiration for my easel card from the lovely and uber talented ladies, Rach and Bev. These pics show where I have hidden my tag. How cool is this idea of Rach's! Thanks Rach for sharing all your inspirational work and your ooooh so fabulous colouring. I can see myself tucking personal notes or even a gift card where Rach has created a hidden pocket. Bev's easel cards ~ all her creations actually ~ are so beautifully put together right down to the last detail that I can't help but drool at her work.
Here's a close-up of the tag and fabbo Stampendous sentiment I totally love. I just received the Magnolia Vintage Tag Die from Magnolia-licious the other day so I couldn't wait to use it.
I'm entering the card into the following challenges:
- Just Magnolia ~ 2X2
- Papertake Weekly - Favourite Challenge (I chose 3-2-1)
- Stamp Something ~ Something Punchy
